BASIS Independent Brooklyn's Lower School campus in Downtown Brooklyn opened in Fall 2021. This campus, centrally located at City Point (405 Gold Street), serves our PreK to Grade 2 students and is thoughtfully designed to welcome our youngest learners to the BASIS Independent Brooklyn curriculum and community.
BASIS Independent Brooklyn prepares students to tackle whatever challenges come their way through our well-rounded, globally inspired curriculum that prioritizes foundational knowledge, encourages independent learning, and grows critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Our teachers have subject-specific expertise in their field and tap into that passion to craft engaging, thought-provoking lessons that allow students to take risks while remaining supported every step of the way.
