- Las Vegas Day School was founded in 1961 and was the first non-sectarian, non-denominational private school established in the state of Nevada. Las Vegas Day School is licensed by the Nevada State Department of Education and accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. The school features a complete campus environment including spacious, modern classrooms, a multipurpose room with a stage, a gymnasium, library, science, art, music, and spanish rooms, art complex, two computer labs and complete athletic facilities. Las Vegas Day School seeks highly motivated students who thrive in a more stimulating academic setting. Grade levels range from Preschool to Eighth grade. Students at the school consistently average between the 80th and 90th percentile on standardized achievement testing. The school encourages parent involvement and communication as well as offering a safe and secure school setting in which children can feel comfortable, happy, and enjoy the learning process. The single biggest reason parents select the Las Vegas Day School is to give their children every advantage that a quality education can provide for high school, college, and in their adult business life.
