My 2 children have been going to NVCA for the last 10 years, now in Middle and High School. This is a Christ-centered school that is all about nurturing the character of your child and not just feeding information to their minds. The teachers are very approachable and the curriculum is challenging enough, gradually stimulating the child to the fullest. The teachers are available to help if the child needs assistance or the grades are slipping. The parents are emailed weekly regarding the child's progress and if there is any missing homework. There is an emphasis on extracurricular activity here, the basketball team has been state champions several years in a row, and coaching is full-fledged for cheerleading, theater, public speaking, track and field, and much more. The high schoolers have a program where they have to present their career choice decision at the end of the year, which is brilliant and helps them cement their choices without wavering in college. The school is growing by leaps and bounds every year, currently, the High school building construction is progressing at a rapid pace. Their teachers are exemplary for their servant leadership, you can see the teachers and principal directing traffic every afternoon in the sweltering Arizona heat! They conduct regular parent surveys to improve their standards. I had to pick up my middle schooler from school after he injured his hand playing basketball one day and the Principal himself went to his class and carried his backpack to the office for him, talk about servant leadership! They also have a strict policy on bullying also, recently there was an incident when my child had been bullied in class, and Mr. Mitchell, the Principal took swift action within hours of letting him know. The fifth grade teacher Ms. Jamie Timm is outstanding in her ability to get kids to read voraciously, Mr. Judge won the best teacher award several times for his outstanding skills! Those who complain about the school in their reviews have been frequent school switchers or are the parents of the bullies who were reprimanded/punished at school for their behavior? I believe the behavior that is enacted at home by the parents is what the child displays at school. The only downside I would say is the yearly fee, but like they say you get what you pay for. If you value your child's character and want to raise them in a loving, Christian environment, this is your school!

We love NVCA! Not only are the teachers of high quality but the school environment is one that is loving, kind, motivational and accepting of all students and their ability levels. We know this is the best place for our children to build them up as spiritual leaders in our community.

I'm a an elementary school teacher at NVCA. I love the students, families, and staff here. There are many opportunities for sharing God's love and learning. God's Word is present and shared in each classroom. We strive to meet the needs of all students and look for ways to challenge and motivate them. Each child is challenged to their potential and beyond.

We have been part of the NVCA family for nine years. Our children thrive in the Christ-centered, fully loving and accepting environment. We trust the staff, from administration to teachers, to do everything within their power to help our kids be successful. Every year we see our kids grow and mature in their walk with God and their academic abilities. We are truly thankful God placed us at NVCA.

My kids are young so we have been at NVCA for a year now. Both of my children will be attending NVCA next year. This school is a great investment in your children's education. NVCA has so much to offer in regards to curriculum and God centered learning. I can't wait to join in teaching the 2's class next year. The staff put their hearts and souls into each child's learning experience. They truly care about each individual. We love NVCA!

I am blessed to have the opportunity to join the NVCA family in August 2017! After years of teaching at various other educational institutions, I already feel loved and part of a family that shares the same Christian values and beliefs. From students parents, administration, fellow staff members and students, the sense of community and family is unmatched. I cannot wait to share my passion for athletics and health with the NVCA families next year, blessed beyond belief!

North Valley Christian Academy - I was new to the area and had the school referred to by a friend. The staff is AMAZING regardless of the level where your child is at. We can't wait until they open the new campus on 27th Drive and it opens up to high school, too. The administration said that the Summer 2018 program will be unique in the area, open to the upper levels with a wide variety of programs. We are so happy to be part of NVCA!!

NVCA has been a gift to our family! Our son has attended for 5 years, starting in Kindergarten. The staff/faculty are all wonderful. They are caring, supportive and hold my son to a high standard. I love the focus on the WHOLE child, not just academics. NVCA truly teaches students how to be Christian leaders!
