I just had to take a moment to rave about Rochester Arts & Sciences Academy (RASA). Let me tell you, this school has been an absolute game-changer for my kiddo! First off, the teachers and staff at RASA are like superheroes in disguise. They're not just educators, but genuine cheerleaders for our kids. They go above and beyond to make sure every child feels supported and encouraged. I can't tell you how much that means to me as a parent. The class sizes at RASA are on the smaller side, which is a total win. It means my little one gets the attention they deserve and a personalized learning experience. No one gets lost in the shuffle here! The teachers really take the time to understand each student's needs and tailor their approach accordingly. It's made such a positive difference in my child's confidence and academic progress. Speaking of academics, RASA's curriculum is top-notch. They strike the perfect balance between challenging and engaging. My kid comes home buzzing with excitement about what they've learned that day. And let me tell you, the integration of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme adds that extra oomph to their education. It's all about broadening their horizons, fostering a love for different cultures, and nurturing their curiosity. But wait, there's more! RASA is all about embracing the arts and sciences. It's like a mini creative hub for our little ones. They get to explore their passions, dabble in various artistic mediums, and even geek out on cool science experiments. It's a blast seeing their imaginations run wild and witnessing their confidence soar. Now, here's the real kicker: the community at RASA is simply awesome. It's like a big, extended family. There's this wonderful sense of belonging and support that you don't often find in other schools. We, parents, are encouraged to get involved, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate being part of my child's educational journey. All in all, RASA has been a total game-changer for my family. It's not just a school; it's a place where kids can flourish, learn, and be themselves. If you're looking for an incredible educational experience for your little one, I wholeheartedly recommend checking out RASA. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

We have had nothing but great experiences at RASA since our child began there 5 years ago. Having tried other private and public schools in town, RASA has been by far the best. The level of attention provided to each student by the staff and administration is unparalleled. With small class sizes and access to enrichments for gifted students and interventions for students who need extra help, the children feel calm and supported. The atmosphere throughout the school has remained one of joyful learning and productivity--throughout the pandemic. The curriculum encourages character values and skills that will be most needed in tomorrow's world: critical thinking, caring, communication, and problem-solving--both interpersonally and academically. The children form tight-knit friendships, and bullying is virtually non-existent. RASA is the only school in the town we have found that provides 30 minutes of daily recess (as opposed to only 20 minutes daily at the public schools) and 30 minutes of daily outdoor physical education (as opposed to only 30 minutes 2 out of every 6 school days in the public schools). It is also one of the only schools teaching a second language in the primary grades--when it is easiest for children to learn languages. It is the only school in Rochester offering daily instruction in both Spanish and French. The music program is outstanding. The after-school clubs and care are excellent. Our child loves RASA. He is there from 8:00 AM to nearly 6:00 PM each day and would stay longer if he could. Our family is so thrilled to see that RASA is now expanding into Middle School!
