School Notes

  • In 2002, the founders of St. Elizabeth`s School recognized the ongoing lack of opportunity faced by many of the young people growing up in our country`s marginalized communities. Their struggles were perpetuated by a lack of access to affordable high-quality education. The founders also believed that the solution to this educational disparity would be found within diverse and collaborative classrooms, and so they built them from the ground up.
  • The school`s mission of intentional inclusion is critical, today more than ever. It takes all of us working together, challenging one another, to affect great change. This is not accomplished by simply respecting differences. This is achieved by actively embracing our unique perspectives and life experiences and leaning into life`s important conversations in order to broaden mind-sets and realize truly transformative education.
  • At St. Elizabeth`s School, tuition payment is not equal; it is equitable! It is our fundamental belief that every family should have affordable and sustainable access to a great education for their children. An individualized tuition plan allows the school to enroll families from a broad socio-economic spectrum that is truly representative of the communities it serves.
  • Families annually submit their current financial information to determine their tuition for the coming year. Tuition covers 30% of annual operating expenses for the school. Generous funders contribute over $1M a year, which allows every student to participate fully in all programming.
  • At St. Elizabeth's School, we dive deeply into...

    • Math that culminates in algebra 1 in 8th grade. Graduates may choose to test into Algebra 2 or geometry as they enter high school.
    • Spanish 2 days a week in lower school and 4 days a week in middle school, preparing graduates for the option of testing into Spanish 2 as they enter high school.
